I turn creative ideas into things people can see, feel, and use.
I'm a multidisciplinary designer who likes working where visual storytelling and technology meet. From shaping a brand to building a motion experience or solving a tricky production problem, I enjoy figuring out how to make good ideas real.
Perficient | "The Cube"
Motion Design · Creative Problem-Solving · Brand Experience
The challenge
As part of Perficient's rebrand, the team envisioned an ambitious motion experience for the company's website. The initial direction involved bringing in an outside motion designer to create it.
The approach
After reviewing the concept, I saw an opportunity to create something in-house that captured a similar spirit. I took the idea and developed The Cube, a custom motion experience designed to bring the new brand to life in a distinctive, engaging way.
The impact
The Cube appeared above the fold on Perficient's corporate website, becoming a prominent part of the brand's digital experience and award-winning rebrand. By creating the animation in-house, I also helped the company avoid an external production expense, saving tens of thousands of dollars.
The takeaway
A big creative idea doesn't always require a big production budget. Sometimes, the right solution starts with looking at a challenge differently.
Pi Beta Phi | Critical Conversations
Motion Design · Storytelling · Multimedia Production
The challenge
As part of Pi Beta Phi's Living with Values program, Critical Conversations was developed as a video series supporting the organization's broader mission. The creative challenge was to bring the program's message to life through engaging visual storytelling.
The approach
I storyboarded and animated the series myself, translating its concepts into a visual format designed to support the message and keep the audience engaged. By guiding the work from storyboarding through animation, I helped shape how the content came together as a finished piece.
The impact
The series became part of Pi Beta Phi's Living with Values programming, extending the organization's message through video and motion design.
The takeaway
Motion design isn't just about making things move. It's about using visuals and storytelling to help an idea connect with its audience.
Hey, speaking of my work.
Motion graphics & animation
So who is this guy, really?
I'm a designer, problem-solver, and lifelong creative who has always been interested in what happens when art and technology come together.
I started out wanting to make the next great Disney movie. That curiosity grew into a career spanning brand design, web development, motion graphics, and digital experiences. These days, I enjoy moving between big-picture ideas and the hands-on work it takes to bring them to life.
I believe good design should do more than look good. It should solve a problem, tell a story, and feel like it came from a real person. Technology can help us get there, but the thinking behind the work still matters.
Outside of design, I'm a husband, dad, sports fan, gamer, home cook, and an absolute ringer for a trivia night. I'm still the same creative kid who likes figuring out how things work. I just have better tools now.
Let's talk.
Good news. I'm super easy to get a hold of. Shoot me an email if you have a business inquiry, or find me on Twitter, Instagram or LinkedIn.
